Gemenc Distillery Ltd. began spirit production in 2015. They use corn, rye, and barley as base ingredients, including barley malt. For aging, they use new 136-liter barrels, where 65% grain distillate is matured for a minimum of 2 years. After two years, the whisky is either aged further in used wine barrels or bottled in its two-year-old state.
Tasting or visit is available with prior registration (minimum 4 guests required).
