360-degree panorama at one of the highest points of the Szekszárd Hills, along the route of the South Transdanubian Blue Tour! The lookout tower is located in the northern part of the Szekszárd Hills, at one of its highest points, near the South Transdanubian Blue Tour, the Hungarian Pilgrimage Route and Mária Road. The lookout tower was built of laminated wood elements, 280 meters above sea level. Its floor level is 15 meters high, the total height of the building is 20 meters. Next to the lookout tower, there is a parking lot, a covered rest area and a campfire area for tourists.
How to get there: On foot, from the city center of Szekszárd (4.2 km): Béla király tér - Bartina u. - Remete u. - Kápolna Square, from Kápolna Square, following the signs for the Blue Tour, we can reach the Bati Cross by going through Kerékhegy towards Sötétvölgy, then turning right to the lookout tower on the hilltop. The lookout tower can also be reached by car on this route, although the road paved with natural stone can cause a “shocking experience”.
